Due to our company expanding we are looking to recruit a specialist welder / fabricator and nightshift fitter / welder to join our successful team. We’re seeking someone willing to work both hard as a team and as an individual, who likes a challenge and excels in client expectations. Current Roles
Welder / Fabricator
The Role
The successful candidate will carry out the following duties:
- to be able to read engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded
- perform welding/plating activities both in the workshop and on-site (mainly mig welding)
- have adequate relevant heavy plant experience in manufacturing for the construction, quarry and recycling industry
- ensure production timings are met/exceeded
- follow company rules and adhere to procedures & Health and Safety standards
- work as part of a team to produce orders on time and within customer expectation/quality requirements
- ensure correct marking up of component parts.
Candidates
The ideal candidate will have exceptional fitting and fabrication experience in a heavy-duty environment. You will also apply the following:
- hands-on attitude
- work overtime & weekends when required.
Experience
- welding & fabrication – 3 years
- ability to be able to read technical drawings (preferred)
Licence
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Truck Licence (preferred)
- Safety Passport (preferred)
Details
Salary: dependent on experience
Work hours: day or night shifts available
